✳ A new chapter. A better kind of roommate search. Meet CollegeRooming
YOUR SPACE. YOUR PACE.

A little trust goes a long way.

Take your time. Ask questions. You never owe anyone a connection, a conversation, or a commitment.

Understand each badge.

Email confirmed means someone controls that email address. University email confirmed means they confirmed an address from a campus domain we have reviewed; it does not prove current enrollment. Listing authority reviewed means we reviewed evidence of permission to advertise.

These checks do not guarantee identity, safety, honesty, or property condition. Government identity checks are not offered in this pilot. We never imply that an email badge is an identity check.

Keep the first steps comfortable.

Use in-platform messages. Avoid sharing your exact current address, financial account information, identity documents, or recovery codes. Meet in a public place first, and tell someone you trust about your plans.

See the place and check the details.

Ask for a live viewing. Check who is authorized to offer the room, confirm the rent and all fees, and read the proposed lease carefully. Be cautious about pressure to pay immediately or send money before you have verified the arrangement. CollegeRooming never collects rent or deposits.

Talk about everyday life.

Discuss quiet hours, guests, overnight visitors, cleaning, chores, shared purchases, pets, and move-in expectations. A high compatibility score is a conversation starter, not a substitute for those conversations.

You control contact.

Messaging opens after both people accept. Block someone from their profile or conversation to stop further contact and hide each other’s profiles. Reporting is always free. Moderators can review reports and relevant conversations to investigate misuse.

Report a concern or email safety@collegerooming.com. If you face immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
